What is a Schedule Maintenance Minder in the FordPass®* App?
The Schedule Maintenance Minder is a Connected Vehicle feature to help you understand when your vehicle will require scheduled maintenance. Scheduled Maintenance includes the inspection and replacement of items such as air filters, fluid belts, and more.
How the Feature Works
This feature uses your vehicle’s odometer to predict when maintenance will be required, provides you with a notification 30 days in advance of your next scheduled maintenance interval, and links you to the service schedule for details on what is required.
Note: Ensure the following conditions are met:
- You have a Battery Electric Vehicle added to the FordPass App.
- Your vehicle is equipped with a 4G Wi-Fi modem.

Instances Where Data Does Not Display
The remaining days and mileage may not display if there is inadequate vehicle usage data. This would occur when:
- The vehicle is brand new.
- Vehicle usage has changed substantially from previous weeks of vehicle operation. An example of this is when a vehicle is normally used for commuting, but suddenly is used for a long road trip.
In these cases, the prediction model has to learn/update the vehicle operator's trip habits. Days and miles remaining will display when the model confirms the data is accurate.
Expected Reset Timeframes
Schedule Maintenance Minder is reset when the vehicle reaches 500 miles or 14 days past the maintenance interval or if an in-vehicle oil life reset is detected after a Schedule Maintenance notification has been sent.
FordPass should reflect the reset once the vehicle has been operated for three trips/drive cycles.
