There are different types of Field Service Action programs, including recall programs and Customer Satisfaction Programs.

Recall Programs

A recall is conducted to remedy a safety, compliance, or emissions concern. Recalls are Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)-specific programs. There are no expiration dates on Safety Recalls or Safety Compliance Recalls. Also, there are generally no expiration dates on Emission Recalls or Emission Compliance Recalls.

Programas de Satisfacción del Cliente

A Programa de Satisfacción del Cliente is an available upgrade to a specific component or an extension of an existing warranty. Customer Satisfaction Programs are VIN-specific programs. Time and mileage limitations do apply.
