How do I manage departure times in FordPass®* for my electric vehicle?

In the FordPass App, you can add, edit, delete, or turn off** your departure times. Review the steps below to learn how to update your regular departure times and your preferred cabin temperature.

Benefits of Using Departure Times

If you have an electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle that is charging, your vehicle will precondition your cabin to your preferred temperature and give you the optimal battery range in all weather conditions.

Managing Electric Vehicle Departure Times

Select the dropdown below with your FordPass App experience for more details on adding, editing, deleting, or turning off your departure times.

Add Departure Time - FordPass App 5.X Experience

To set a departure time in the FordPass App:

  1. Abre la Aplicación FordPass.
  2. Go to the Energy pantalla.
  3. Tap Departure Times.
    • If you are adding your first departure time, select Add in the "Create Departure Time" section. 
    • If you are adding additional departure times, select the + in the upper right-hand corner.
  4. Enter the following as needed:
    • Ready By Time
    • Repeat day of the week
    • Cabin Comfort
  5. Tap Save.

Add Departure Time - FordPass App 4.X Experience

To set a departure time in the FordPass App:

  1. Abre la Aplicación FordPass.
  2. Ir a Vehicle screen.
  3. Tap Departure Times.
  4. Select Add Departure Time. 
  5. Set the following for your departing schedule:
    • Hora
    • Días de semana
    • Temperatura de la cabina
  6. Select Add Departure Time to save your changes.

Note: You can set a maximum of two departures times per day. If you exceed two schedules, a "Limit Reached" message will appear.

Edit or Delete Departure Time - FordPass App 5.X Experience

To modify or delete a departure time in the FordPass App:

  1. Abre la Aplicación FordPass.
  2. Go to the Energy pantalla.
  3. Tap Departure Times.
  4. Select a Departure Time.
    • To edit, modify the following options as needed:
      • Ready By 
      • Repetir 
      • Cabin Comfort
    • To delete, tap Delete at the bottom of the screen. 
  5. Tap Save.

Edit or Delete Departure Time - FordPass App 4.X Experience

To modify or delete a departure time in the FordPass App:

  1. Abre la Aplicación FordPass. 
  2. Ir a Vehicle screen.
  3. Tap Departure Time.
  4. Select a Departure Time.
    • To edit, modify the following options:
      • Hora
      • Días de semana
      • Temperatura de la cabina
    • To delete, tap Delete at the bottom of the screen. 
  5. Tap Save/Confirm when done on each screen.
  6. Select Save on the next screen to confirm all changes.

Turn Off Departure Times - FordPass App 5.X Experience Only

To turn off your departure times:

  1. Abre la Aplicación FordPass.
  2. Go to the Energy pantalla.
  3. Tap Departure Times.
  4. Toggle the All Departure Times slider to the left to turn off the feature.
