How do I get removed from a Ford recall mailing list?

If you are receiving recall letters for a vehicle you no longer own, contact your local Department of Motor Vehicles to ensure your registration records are up-to-date.

As long as you remain listed as the current owner in state registration and title records, you will continue to receive these notices.

Ford Motor Company is required by Federal Regulation to mail recall letters to the last known registered owner.

Note: If your vehicle was involved in a Takata recall, you are still receiving notices, and you no longer own the vehicle, visit https://fordairbagsurvey.com/ and enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to begin the process of being removed from the mailing list.
