2022 Ford F-150® — Parking Lamp Recall
Recall Reference Number: 23C36
Building vehicles you can count on is our most important job, which is why Ford has issued a safety recall on some of the LED parking lamps on certain 2022 Ford F-150® trucks.
When potentially affected LED headlamp modes are engaged, the parking lamp may begin to flicker.

Model-year 2022 F-150 trucks built between March 11, 2022, and July 23, 2022, that are equipped with high series headlamps.
What is the issue tied to this recall?
Park lamp flickering may occur when the driver manually selects the “Position Lamp On” mode, “Headlamp On” mode, or when driving in “Automatic Headlamp” mode and the environment becomes dark enough to trigger “Night Mode.”
What is the cause of the issue?
Insufficient capacitance of the capacitor in the LED Driver Module during certain operating voltage ranges.
What is the repair?
Dealers will update the software in the LED and Headlamp Control Modules.
When will you notify customers?
We will begin sending service letters to customers on January 15, 2024.
Will there be a charge to customers?
No.
