How do I change my Ford password?

Your Ford, FordPass®*, and Wi-Fi hotspot** passwords can all be changed in the same place on the Ford Support website.

Changing Your Password

Select the method you are using from the drop-down options below to learn how to edit your password.

Using a Computer

To change your password on a computer:

  1. Ir a Ford Support website.
  2. Select the Account icon d0021f3b-a051-4707-928b-ce6c6188d3e6.png.
  3. Choose Sign In. 
  4. Log in to your Ford account.
  5. Select the Account icon.
  6. Choose <Your Name's> Account. 
  7. Scroll down and select Sign-In & Security. 
  8. Click Edit.
  9. Add your new password.
  10. Select Submit.

Using a Mobile Device

To change your password on a mobile device:

  1. Ir a Ford Support website.
  2. Select the Menu icon f63f6fa7-2391-4b6b-9e75-ecc565dafc4e.png.
  3. Choose Sign In. 
  4. Log in to your Ford account.
  5. Tap the Menu icon.
  6. Press My Account.
  7. Choose <Your Name's> Account. 
  8. Scroll down and select Sign-In & Security. 
  9. Click Edit.
  10. Add your new password.
  11. Select Submit.
