If you are going on a business trip or vacation and need to park your all-electric vehicle Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) for a week or two (under 30 days), follow the recommendations below to make sure your vehicle stays in good operating condition.
General
- Store your vehicle in a dry, ventilated area.
- Protect from sunlight, if possible.
Charging & Battery Systems
- Charge your high voltage (HV) battery to approximately 90%.
- Once achieved, disconnect your vehicle and keep it disconnected for the remainder of the time in storage.
