On the 2027 Ford Super Duty®, Tow/Haul mode is a drive setting engineered to optimize vehicle performance and control when carrying heavy loads or pulling a trailer. It intelligently modifies transmission shift points, holding gears longer to prevent hunting and provide robust power for accelerating and climbing grades. Importantly, it also enhances engine braking on descents, helping to maintain speed and reduce wear on the truck's service brakes.
The 2027 Ford Super Duty offers outstanding payload capacities ranging from 2,415 to 7,900 lbs. The exact payload capacity varies based on your vehicle's configuration. This includes attributes such as model, engine type, drivetrain, cab and box size, and DRW or SRW. When properly equipped, the 2027 Ford Super Duty offers a best-in-class maximum available gas payload of 7,900 lbs and a best-in-class maximum available diesel payload of 6,935 lbs.
