Description
On your vehicle, masking tape was left between the windshield glass and the windshield frame during production.
Safety Risk
In the event of a crash the windshield may not stay adequately retained, which increases the risk of injury. Affected vehicles could also experience increased wind noise or water leaks.
Remedy
Parts are now available to repair your vehicle. Ford Motor Company has authorized your dealer to remove your windshield, remove the masking tape, and then re-install a new windshield free of charge.
