Does the Ford Warranty transfer to a new owner?

If you have purchased a previously owned vehicle, you are eligible for any remaining Garantía Limitada (V. Nuevos) coverage and other warranties based on the Fecha de Inicio de la Garantía and mileage of the vehicle.

You may also be eligible to purchase a Plan de Servicio Extendido Ford Protect to provide coverage for your vehicle even if all warranties have expired. This will allow you to protect your vehicle should there be future repairs and avoid unexpected costs at a later date.
