How do I pair my phone with SYNC®* 4A?

  1. Make sure Bluetooth®** is enabled on your smartphone.
  2. Press the Phone icon on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
  3. Tap ADD A PHONE and follow the prompts.

Pairing a Bluetooth-enabled device

  1. Enable Bluetooth on your device.
  2. Tap the Vehicle image on the left-hand side of the SYNC screen.
  3. Select SETTINGS. 
  4. Press CONNECTIVITY.
  5. Press BLUETOOTH.
  6. Switch Bluetooth ON.
  7. Press ADD A BLUETOOTH DEVICE.
  8. Select your vehicle on your device. APIN number will appear on your device and your SYNC screen.
  9. Confirm that the number on your device matches the number on the SYNC screen.

The touchscreen will indicate that you have successfully paired your device.
