How do I turn off data sharing in my Ford?

Certain Ford vehicles share vehicle data with Ford electronically by default. You can opt to stop sharing vehicle data with Ford within the vehicle's settings using your SYNC®* system.

Disabling the Share Vehicle Data Setting

Select your SYNC generation from the drop-down options below to learn how to modify your data-sharing settings.

SYNC 4A

  1. Select the Settings or Home icon on your vehicle's SYNC screen. 
  2. Elige Conectividad.
  3. Tap Connected Vehicle Features.
  4. Toggle the Share Vehicle Data slider to Off.
  5. Press Continue on the confirmation prompt.

Your vehicle is no longer sharing data with Ford.

  1. Selecciona Configuración en la pantalla SYNC de tu vehículo.
