You can play audio from your media devices (e.g., smartphone, digital music player, etc.) through your SYNC®* system using the instructions below.

Using Media Devices with SYNC

Select your SYNC generation from the drop-down options below to learn how to play media on your device through SYNC. Si necesitas ayuda para determinar la generación de tu sistema SYNC, selecciona la primera opción del menú desplegable.

Using Media Devices with Stored Media 

  1. Plug your device into one of your vehicle's USB ports. 

  2. Tap Audio on your vehicle's SYNC screen.

  3. Select Sources.

  4. Choose the USB option.

You can play, pause, or skip tracks on their media device with options that function similar to a traditional CD player.

Using Media Devices with Streaming Media (Pandora, Spotify, etc.)

  1. Make sure the media app is up and running on your device. 
  2. Press the Voice Command button. 
  3. Say, "Bluetooth Audio."
  4. Say, "Play."
