How do I update my preferences in SYNC 4A and SYNC 4?

You can adjust the time, Bluetooth®-connected devices, driver-assist features, and speaker preferences in the Settings menu of your SYNC®^* 4A and SYNC 4 systems. 

To update your preferences in SYNC:

1. Select the Settings or Home icon on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
2. Choose Preferences.
3. Adjust any of the following settings:
   • Clock: You can set the time, select a mode, enable auto daylight saving time, and more.
   • Sound: You can adjust speaker preferences.
   • Bluetooth: You can edit the Bluetooth-enabled device list.
   • Driver Assist: You can lock in the preferences for driver-assist technology use.
4. Pick Apply to save the changes.

^*Don’t drive while distracted or while using handheld devices. Use voice-operated systems when possible. Some features may be locked out while the vehicle is in gear. Not all features are compatible with all phones.
