¿Cómo ajusto la Iluminación Ambiental de mi Ford?

You can adjust your interior lighting using your SYNC®* system (if equipped) or with the buttons on your overhead console (vehicles without SYNC).

Esta característica te permite personalizar el interior de tu vehículo. It turns on when the ignition and the headlamps are switched on, and, depending on your vehicle, it illuminates:

  • Cupholders.
  • Door map pockets and release handles.
  • Front and rear footwells.
  • Console storage.
  • Passenger-side instrument panel light bars.
  • Media bins.

Changing Your Vehicle's Ambient Lighting

Select your SYNC generation (gen) from the drop-down options below to learn how to adjust the Ambient Lighting in your vehicle.

Notas: 

  • If you need assistance determining the generation of your SYNC system, select the first drop-down option.
  • The Ambient Lighting for 2017 - 2019 Ford F-150 vehicles is limited to Ice Blue color only and the intensity cannot be adjusted.

Identifying Your Vehicle's SYNC Gen

Two resources to help you identify your vehicle's SYNC gen are the:

  • SYNC and Navigation Updates page. Either:

    • Enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and select Check for update.

    • Log in with your Ford credentials, choose a vehicle from your garage, and select Check for updates.

      Note: Your SYNC gen will appear on the right-hand side of the page.

  • SYNC Visual Reference Guide, which provides example images of SYNC gens that Ford has offered.

SYNC 4A

To set the Ambient Lighting color and brightness using SYNC 4A:

  1. Tap the Home icon on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
  2. Press Settings.
  3. Select Ambient Light.
  4. Select a color.
  5. Drag the selected color up or down.

To set the Ambient Lighting color and brightness using SYNC 4:

  1. Press Settings on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
  2. Tap Vehicle Settings.
  3. Press Ambient Light.
  4. Drag the slider left or right.

SYNC 3

To set the Ambient Lighting color and brightness using SYNC 3:

  1. Tap Settings on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
  2. Tap Ambient Lighting.
  3. Select your desired color.
  4. Select your preferred intensity.

SYNC con MyFord Touch®

To set the Ambient Lighting color and brightness using SYNC with MyFord Touch:

  1. Select Menu (gear icon) on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
  2. Tap Vehicle.
  3. Tap Ambient Lighting. A screen with colored bubbles will appear.
  4. Tap your desired color.
  5. Slide the bar at the top of the screen to the left or right to adjust the brightness.

Manual Controls

The Ambient Lighting control is located on the overhead console. To choose a color:

  1. Turn the center control knob until you feel a slight indent.
  2. Once the lights come on, twist it in either direction to adjust the brightness.
  3. Press the Color button (painter's palette) to scroll through your color choices.

Note: Instructions may vary depending on your vehicle's year and model. For specific information, refer to your Manual del Propietario under "Lighting."
