You can find your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) in the Ford App, your Ford Account, and your vehicle's SYNC®* screen. You can also locate your VIN on your driver's side doorjamb, windshield (lower, driver's side corner), or vehicle documentation (e.g., registration, insurance policy, lease, or promissory note).

Notas:

  • The VIN location for 1967 and older vehicles varies by model. You may find the VIN on the driver's side doorjamb, inside the glove compartment, on the right-hand dash panel, or the top left-hand side of the frame between the steering gearbox and firewall.
  • The letters "I", "O", and "Q" are not included in a VIN to avoid confusion with the numbers 1 (one) and 0 (zero).

  1. Log in to the Ford app.
  2. Tap the Vehicle icon to go to the Vehicle dashboard.

    Note: If you have multiple vehicles, choose one from your garage. 
     
  3. Select Vehicle Details under the Settings section.

 Log in to your account on the Ford Support website. 

The VIN will be displayed below an image of your vehicle.

  1. Tap the Settings or Home icon on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
  2. Selecciona General.
  3. Press About SYNC.
