Now you can enjoy all the convenience of Alexa in your Ford. Ask Alexa questions, check and schedule events in your calendar, ask for directions, shop Amazon, and access smart home controls.*

Whether Alexa Built-in was installed in the factory** or Ford Power-Up via an over-the-air software update,† you can interact with Alexa in your vehicle through any of the more than 100,000 Alexa Auto Skills, or just speak to Alexa as you do at home with simple voice commands like, “Alexa, add laundry detergent to my shopping list.” To get even more out of Alexa Built-in, activate Conectividad Premium Ford to make every drive that much better.

Can I use Alexa Built-in without an Amazon account?

To enjoy all the features of Amazon Alexa Built-in, you need to have an Amazon account. If you don't have an account, visit Amazon.com to sign up and get started.

How to Set Up Alexa Built-in

Alexa Built-in is complimentary for the first three years of vehicle ownership. To get started:

  1. Activate FordPass Connect™, or if you haven’t yet, activate it now.
  2. Register Alexa Built-in by tapping Settings and selecting the Alexa icon on your SYNC® 4 or SYNC 4A screen.
  3. Select Amazon Alexa On the status information screen, then select Yes or Get Started.
  4. Scan the QR code with your smartphone and sign in to your Amazon account or visit Amazon.com/code to sign in to Amazon.
  5. Register your device by entering the provided code.
  6. Sigue los pasos para finalizar el registro de Alexa en tu vehículo.
  7. Select Yes to enable the Alexa wake word.

How to use Amazon Alexa Built-in

  1. Say “Alexa,” followed by your question or command.
  2. If Listen to Wake Word is turned off, press the Push to Talk button on the steering wheel. After the tone, simply say “Alexa,” followed by your question or command
