How do I use Ford Assistant with SYNC?

Enabling or Disabling Ford Assistant

1. Select Settings on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
2. Choose Connectivity.
3. Select Connected Vehicle Features.
4. Toggle the Ford Assistant slider to enable or disable Ford Assistant. 
   
   Note: You can select the “i” icon to the right of the toggle for a brief description of Ford Assistant.

Using Ford Assistant

1. Select the Push-to-Talk button on your vehicle's steering wheel. You can also say a wake word if it has been set up.

2. Say your command or question when you see "Speak now" on your vehicle's SYNC screen. Ford Assistant will verbally answer with a response.

   Note: If you would like to check for recalls or service updates using Ford Assistant, ask, "Does this car have any recalls?"

   • Any open recalls or service updates will appear on the vehicle's SYNC screen. 
   • Once a recall has been completed, it will take a few days for the vehicle's memory to update that it has been completed.
