Traba de Alejamiento es una característica que bloquea el vehículo cuando te alejas con la llave pasiva o con un teléfono autorizado. Use the information below to enable or disable Walk Away Locking.

Important: This is not a standard feature, and you must have Phone As A Key™* set up with the Ford app.

Enabling or Disabling Walk Away Locking

To enable or disable the Walk Away Locking feature, follow the steps below.

  1. Accede a tu vehículo.
  2. Ensure your vehicle is on, turned on, and in park.
  3. Access the Vehicle Drawer on your SYNC®** screen.
  4. Presiona Configuración.
  5. Select Vehicle.
  6. Tap the Walk Away Lock toggle on/off.

Note: Walk Away Locking will lock all the vehicle doors when the following requirements are met: 

  • The vehicle is off.
  • All doors are closed and unlocked.
  • A door has been opened and closed without a lock or unlock occurring after all doors have been closed.
  • Any passive key or authorized phone is not inside the vehicle.
  • All passive keys or authorized phones leave the passive entry zone of the vehicle.
