Why is there a Deep Sleep Mode Message for my F-250 Super Duty?

A known issue is affecting the 2022 F-250 Super Duty Lariat. These vehicles, built on or after June 1st, are entering Deep Sleep Mode erroneously. You will see a Deep Sleep Mode message in FordPass^®* and experience a loss of connected features such as remote lock/unlock** and remote start*** while the ignition and delayed accessory is off. 

The root cause for this issue is the battery current sensor being deleted/removed due to the chip shortage on this specific vehicle.
