How do I set a maximum charge level in my all-electric Ford vehicle?

You can use SYNC to set a maximum charge level for locations you have charged at and help maintain the health of your vehicle's high voltage battery.

Setting Maximum Charge Levels

1. Press the Home icon.
2. Select the Settings tab.
3. Press Charge. Use the slider to toggle Charging Locations on, if it is not selected already.
4. Press the pencil icon next to Charging Locations to edit the information.
5. Press + Add New Location or select any of the locations you have already setup.
   
   Note: If you have not set up a charging location, see Setting up a Charging Location para obtener más información.
    
6. Press the pencil icon to the right of a set charging location.
7. Usa el deslizador junto a Max Charge Level (Nivel de Carga Máxima) para fijar el estado de carga máxima. Ford recommends:
   • 100% charge level for vehicles with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries.
   • 90% charge level for vehicles with nickel cobalt manganese (NCM) batteries.
8. Press Next.
9. Press Next again to save the edits.
